Primary Care Everywhere: Interview with Tim Barry, Co-Founder & CEO of VillageMD
Tuesday May 23, 2023
Tuesday May 23, 2023
Tim Barry, Co-founder and CEO of VillageMD grew up in a small community, where he says he saw people caring for one another. It’s a vision that stayed with him, and turned into a mission at VillageMD.
VillageMD works to provide high-touch, 24/7 primary care, meeting patients where they are - both in the healthcare journey and literally where they are through home-based care when needed.
Tim says just 1 in 5 Americans who have chronic diseases are responsible for 85% of the medical spending, but he tells us better outcomes are possible by:
*Fostering healthy relationships with primary care providers who provide value-based care
*Using data/technology to better predict who will have adverse health reactions *Creating a team-based health ecosystem where providers are supported and encouraged to do the right thing for their patients.
Check out the full interview to hear more from Tim about how VillageMD is transforming care.

Brothers Akash & Aman Magoon co-founded Adonis with the mission to improve healthcare net collection rates and reduce the cost of collecting.

What’s more - they say that due to rejection and denials, healthcare organizations leak 10%+ of revenue.
Adonis sits on top of clients’ existing tech, and uses AI/machine learning to make denials less and less likely, which in turn reduces admin burden, and frees up time and money to focus on patients.
